My sister-in-law, Cassie, had a brilliant idea this year . . . 12 days of mail for Christmas. The rules were that we couldn't spend any money, other than the postage to send the packages. We just had to come up with things from home to send Christmas cheer. So me and my sista-in-laws and mother-in-law have already mailed out our goodies to avoid any holiday mail delays - so we just open one piece of mail on the specified day. Here is my little stack of anticipation just itchin' to be opened. . .
Today is day one, so here goes . . . this one's from Cassie . . . ooh, 3 dimensional is always exciting . . .
Oh, "A sweet treat for sweet you."
Yummy! Rocky Road Fudge! And she even included a RECIPE!
Mmm! This looks irresistable even from my low megapixel camera!
So, this is BREAKFAST! One of my pleasures/vices is sweets for breakfast. I'm not a big breakfast eater because my body takes a while to get hungry in the mornings, but I always have a tooth for sweets! So more often than not a cookie, chocolate, or leftover from last night's dessert, is my breakfast.
So today . . . WALAH! THANKS CASSIE!
And, I'll even share the recipe!
ROCKY ROAD FUDGE from Cassie McCully
1 pkg. butterscotch chips
1 pkg. chocolate chips
1 c. creamy peanut butter
10 oz. small marshmallows
2 c. salted peanuts
Melt the chips together over low heat & add peanut butter. Take off stove. Gently stir in marshmallows & peanuts. Place in 9x13 pan. Put in fridge 1-2 hours to harden. Take out of fridge to cut into squares. Return to fridge.
It's SUPER YUMMY! I personally recommend it!
